Hello!

I'm Tyller, the owner and seamstress behind Seetin Sewing.

Sewing found its way into my life when I least expected it. What started as hemming friends' dresses for homecoming, mending holes, and taking on the occasional upholstery project gradually grew into something much bigger. One project in particular—a heavily damaged denim jacket that I was determined to save—sparked a passion that eventually became Seetin Sewing.

The name "Seetin Sewing" is a tribute to my grandmother, whose influence on my life was greater than I realized at the time. I taught myself to sew on her classic 1960s Kenmore sewing machine. While I now work primarily on a Juki DDL-8700 industrial machine, that Kenmore will always hold a special place in my heart.

What began in a spare bedroom soon outgrew the space as my collection of supplies expanded and more customers entrusted me with their projects. That growth ultimately led me to open my studio in downtown San Bernardino, where I continue to provide alterations, repairs, custom sewing, and quilting services.

Of all the work I do, alterations are my favorite. There's something incredibly rewarding about helping someone achieve the perfect fit and seeing their face light up when they put on a garment that finally feels right. Those moments make every pinprick worthwhile.
